How do you target the MUN in KSP?
If you want to reach the Mun on the first swing around, wait until Mun rises just above the horizon. A good rule of thumb is for each 100 km you are above Kerbin, wait another 2 seconds. Once it does, begin a forward burn, and keep an eye on your map, as the apoapsis moves out towards Munar orbit.
How many Mun arches are there?
Arches National Park has the densest concentration of natural stone arches in the world. There are over 2,000 documented arches in the park, plus pinnacles, balanced rocks, fins and other geologic formations. Some are more notable than others.

How are surface features used in the Kerbal Space Program?
In the Breaking Ground DLC, several new kinds of surface feature were added. These are to a much higher resolution than terrain and are also able to be interacted with. Kerbals can pick up samples of the features, and they can be scanned with the 3 different types of scanning arm.
How to bring a Mun stone back to the Mun?
1. Generate a new save 2. Go into the Kerbal Space Program>saves folder 3. Open the persistant.sfs file in notepad 4. Locate the ROCSeed # and copy it (see image) 5. Paste into the old save at the same line 6. Save it a I edited the persistent.sfs file as suggested. Still haven’t found any Mun crystals but I did find a Baobob tree near KSC .
Are there specially made rocks on the Mun?
There’s no right-click option either. Can’t seem to drag it to pick up either. Are there specially made rocks that you can interact with? I landed about 10 km south of the Arch in the East Crater for reference. Just in case you didnt start a new save, check @Rocketology ‘s quick fix of how to enable surface features in old saves.
What’s the difference between Kerbin and Mun landing?
Because the Mun’s gravity is substantially weaker than Kerbin, your orbital velocity will not be very high. Aim for a nice, circular orbit at an altitude no higher than 200,000 m. Because there is no atmosphere, you do not have to worry about drag at any altitude. Select your landing site along your orbital trajectory.
