Like seriously, if you have a bad world generation and Corruption/Crimson will spawn next to the jungle, you can’t save the jungle. And this is a huge problem, considering how useful jungle is. Corruption on hardmode spreads so quickly, and not only spreads, it also turns mud into dirt, so you can’t use Clentaminator! WTF? Shh… It’s ok.
Why is corruption allowed to spread across the world?
Also upon entering hardmode a lot of corruption spreads across the world (atleast on my world it spread across the right side, and jungle is to the left) and all the work you have done to save the jungle from corruption might be lost. If you really want to get rid of it before starting hardmode then you can always use tEdit.
How can I stop the spread of Crimson?

How can I stop them both permanently and effectively from taking over the world, considering both the top layer and underground? (Eg, simply placing gray brick on top of the surface won’t stop the underground spread?) And, is it worth the effort?
