It’s a very good and deep game. Incredibly well tested. It’s worth the time to learn the symbology (which is really much more intimidating than difficult). The iconography is confusing but actually very straightforward once you start to get the game.

Race for the Galaxy has far more replayability, and is an excellent game when played with 2 players who know the game well, BUT it has a far steeper learning curve, and can be very offputting to learn for players who aren’t planning on playing it regularly.
